The Process
No Two Floors Are Identical
Metallic epoxy uses mica-based pigment powders suspended in a clear epoxy carrier. As the material self-levels, the metallic particles move and settle in a pattern that can never be exactly duplicated — even by the same installer on the same floor twice.
We pour, then hand-move with tools to steer the pattern. The result is a floor with depth, movement, and light-catching texture that looks different at every angle.

FAQs
Common Questions About Metallic Floors
How is a metallic floor different from standard epoxy?
Metallic systems use mica-based pigment powders suspended in a clear epoxy carrier. The metallic particles move and settle as the material self-levels, creating unique swirl patterns that can never be exactly duplicated. Standard flake or solid-color epoxy goes on uniform — metallic is hand-crafted.
Can I choose my own color combination?
Yes. We mix custom color combinations from our metallic pigment library. If you have a reference photo or color in mind, bring it — we can match the mood even if not the exact shade.
Is metallic epoxy durable enough for a garage?
Absolutely. Every metallic system we install gets a polyaspartic topcoat rated for hot tire contact, chemical resistance, and UV stability. The metallic layer gives you the look — the topcoat gives you the protection.
How long does it take?
Most residential metallic installs are a 2-day process: day one is surface prep and priming, day two is the metallic pour and topcoat. We're typically off the floor by end of day two.
Will it look exactly like the photos?
Each metallic floor is hand-poured and hand-moved, so the finished pattern is always one of a kind. We'll show you reference jobs in a similar colorway so you know what to expect — and we talk through the look before we start.
What surfaces can metallic epoxy go on?
Concrete slabs — garages, basements, home gyms, interior rooms, covered patios. The slab needs to be properly ground and prepped. We assess every surface before quoting.
